Easy children’s fudge recipe and a clutch of eggs under a rose bush!

Breakfast was pancakes again! I was out of plain flour so this is a blend of wholegrain spelt and rice flour:

This morning we made some fudge!

Add the marshmallows, butter, vanilla essence and milk to a pan, then melt!

Place in fridge for 3 hours..

Lunch was a cheese and red onion chutney baguette. Our 1yo thought it looked good too and ate the bigger of the two pictured below – where do they put it all?!

I had a few things to do in town this afternoon, when we got back we cut out the fudge!

We also had a surprise discovery on our way back in, by our back door is a rose bush:

Under the rose bush we found this!

There were over 40 eggs there!! The pheasants have obviously chosen here rather than their nesting boxes! The gamekeeper was very amused and also amazed that a badger hadn’t had the best supper of his life!

Supper tonight was salmon, sweet chilli noodles and stir fried veg

We had a wonderful time playing in the garden after supper with a bubble machine, meant we put the bounciest children in the world in the bath though lol!
