Our 4yo wanted scrambled eggs for breakfast this morning so we all had them too! I don’t like scrambled egg too solid so this is how we eat them..
This morning we headed out to a lovely park we go to.
To get to it we walk through the woods, we had a great time looking for dragonflies and pine cones!
Before you get to the park there’s a lovely lake to walk past
There’s a lovely cafe there too which we had lunch at. Steak ciabatta and salad with the steak cooked rare!
When we got back home we headed up to lambing shed and found a ewe about to deliver the second of her twins, what a privilege to see!
What a clever mama she is!
After that excitement we headed in to the house to start making the dough for pizza! I love making pizza and have twiddled about with lots of different recipes until coming up with this one:
500g of type ’00’ pasta flour
7g dried yeast
1/3rd tbsp salt
325ml warm water
Chuck everything in a bowl and mix. Start kneading in a bowl until all combined. Turn out on to surface to knead:
Knead for 10 minutes:
Until it’s a smooth and elastic dough:
Place back in bowl
And leave until doubled in size
Divide the dough in two and roll out before transferring to a lightly floured pizza tray
Add chilli and then cheese to taste:
Cook at 180ºC for 15-20 min until cooked and then serve, enjoy!
